How we handle your information

Effective October 26, 2026

The AI Stock Club ("the club", "we") is a private, invite-only website at theaistockclub.com where a small group of friends share investing ideas, with an AI assistant that helps with research. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the site, and your choices.

What we collect

InformationWhenWhy

Your name, email and the answers you giveWhen you ask to joinSo the club can review your request and reply
Messages you send the assistant, and any screenshots you attachWhen you use the chatTo answer you and keep the club's discussion history. Screenshots are deleted after the assistant reads them
Theses, picks, comments, challenges and app ideas you addWhen you post themTo share them with other members
Trades you log (stock, shares, price, date)When you tell the assistant about a tradeTo show the club's buys and track how they do
Sign-in records: time, device and browser type, and IP addressEach time you sign in or out, or a sign-in is refusedSecurity, to spot sign-ins that aren't you
Your settings, such as light or dark look and email preferencesWhen you change themTo remember your choices
Error reportsWhen something breaksTo fix the site. They may include your email and the page you were on

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't follow you across other websites.

Google sign-in

We only ask Google for your basic profile: your name, email address and profile picture. We don't access your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Who helps us run the site

We share information only with the services needed to run the club, and only for that purpose:

We also read public market data (stock prices from Yahoo Finance and insider filings from the SEC). No personal information is sent to them.

We never sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who can see what

Other members see your first name and last initial, what you post, and the trades you log. The club's founder can also see members' email addresses, join requests, sign-in records and error reports, to run the club. People who aren't members see nothing from inside the club.

How long we keep it

We keep the club's discussion, theses and trades for as long as the club runs, because the history is part of the point. Sign-in records and error reports are kept for security and troubleshooting. If you leave or ask us to, we'll delete your account information and either delete your posts or remove your name from them, unless the law requires us to keep something.

Your choices

Security

The site uses HTTPS and Google sign-in, and it checks the member list on every request. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.

Children

The club is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Not investment advice

Nothing on the site is financial advice. See our terms of use.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell members about any significant change.
